Booker T & the DBT's

Booker T, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame keyboardist for Booker T & the MGs, recorded his 2009 album "Potato Hole" with the Drive-By Truckers as his band. The DBT's are an alternative country/Southern rock band co-founded by Patterson Hood (son of bassist David Hood of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section).

While the DBT's did a few live shows with Booker T, most of the tour supporting "Potato Hole" went on without them. However, we located an April 23, 2009 performance at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art (New Orleans, LA) captured on the syndicated TV show "Live From The Artists Den".

Happy Birthday, Al!

It's become traditional for Al Kooper to celebrate his birthday with a live performance at B.B. King's in New York (and before that at The Bottom Line). Here are five original members of Blood, Sweat & Tears (Randy Brecker, Fred Lipsius, Lew Soloff, Steve Katz and Al) captured during a show at The Bottom Line celebrating Al's 50th in 1994.

Steve Winwood Joins Steely Dan On Stage On "Pretzel Logic"

Steve Winwood is doing a 10 date tour of Australian and New Zealand opening for Steely Dan. When they appeared at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, for Steely Dan's encore, Winwood joined them on “Pretzel Logic.” Winwood added organ to the tune and sang lead as well.

The Zombies featuring Colin Blunstone & Rod Argent

The two integral original members of The Zombies, lead singer Colin Blunstone and keyboardist extraordinaire (and singer) Rod Argent are on an American tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of the band.

One of the stops was a live TV performance of the title track from their new CD, "Breathe Out, Breathe In" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

We're back!

We're back! Please help spread the word...

We're a little under the weather

Thanks to Hurricane Irene, we're a little under the weather. Since we can't stream without power, we've been off "the air" since Sunday morning.

We hope to be back on again soon and will keep you posted.
